本刊簡介
本刊原為「教學科技與媒體 Instructional Technology & Media」(第1期1992年2月~第102期2012年12月),自第103期(2013年3月)起改為「教育傳播與科技研究 Research of Educational Communications and Technology」,期數繼續。
本刊以出版教育科技與視聽傳播相關領域之原創性論文為宗旨,廣納理論與實務研究論文,包括實證研究、科技融入教學經驗,與具批判性和創發思考之評論性論文。
本刊收錄於「臺灣期刊論文索引系統」、「臺灣人文及社會科學引文索引資料庫」,2019年獲「台灣人社期刊評比暨核心期刊收錄」評為第三級期刊。
《教育傳播與科技研究》每年四、八、十二月出刊,以出版教育科技與傳播相關領域之原創性論文為宗旨。歡迎教育傳播與科技實徵研究、科技融入教學經驗與評論性學術論文,廣納理論與實務研究論文、具批判性和創發思考之評論性論文,與碩博士論文改寫發表。

The journal was originally titled “Instructional Technology & Media” (Issues 1, February 1992 – Issue 102, December 2012). Starting from Issue 103 (March 2013), it was renamed “Research of Educational Communications and Technology“, with the issue numbering continuing consecutively.
The journal publishes original research papers in the fields of educational technology and audiovisual communications, broadly accepting both theoretical and practical works, including empirical studies, technology-integrated teaching experiences, and critical or creative commentary papers.
It is indexed in the Taiwan Periodical Literature Index System and the Taiwan Humanities and Social Sciences Citation Index (THCI), and was rated as a Tier 3 journal in the 2019 Taiwan Humanities and Social Sciences Journal Evaluation and Core Journal Inclusion.
Research of Educational Communications and Technology is published three times a year (April, August, and December). The journal welcomes submissions of empirical research, technology-enhanced instructional practices, and critical academic papers, including revised master’s or doctoral theses, contributing to both theoretical and practical developments in the field.
Recent themes for submission are listed below; submissions are welcome! Each issue includes papers related to the special theme, and general topic submissions are also highly welcomed. If a manuscript matches a special theme but misses the submission deadline, it is still welcome and will be considered a regular manuscript.
